FULL-CHARGE CONSTRUCTION BOOKKEEPER
Pueblo, Colorado | Full-Time | In-Office
An established General Contractor in Southern Colorado is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Construction Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This position requires hands-on experience with construction accounting, including job costing, progress billing, retainage, payroll, and financial reporting.
Construction accounting experience is required. Applicants without construction accounting experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Job Costing and Project Accounting
- Progress Billing and Retainage Tracking
- Work-in-Progress (WIP) Reporting
- Payroll Processing
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Monthly Financial Reporting
- Coordination with outside CPA
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction accounting experience
- Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and progress billing
- Strong QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
